WATER BAPTISM

WATER BAPTISM

THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER BAPTISM
According to the Bible, Christian water baptism is an outward sign of what has happened in the believer’s life. It illustrates the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The Bible says: “Don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Rom. 6:3-4). Immersion in water during baptism symbolizes death and burial with Christ, and emergence from the water symbolizes resurrection with Christ.

TWO REQUIREMENTS FOR THOSE WHO DECIDE TO BE BAPTIZED:
1. A person must believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
2. They must understand the meaning of baptism.

If a person has accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior, understands that baptism is a step of obedience and a public confession of their faith in Christ, and desires to be baptized in water, there is no reason why this believer should not be baptized. According to the Bible, baptism is important because the believer publicly declares his faith and devotion to Christ, identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection. It is a conscious and public act that testifies to a person’s choice to follow Jesus for the rest of their life and be His disciple.

We invite everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Savior and has not yet been baptized in water!

WHAT TO EXPECT
On Sunday at 10:00 a.m., before the general meeting, there will be a lesson entitled “What is water baptism?” during which your knowledge about baptism will be expanded and all questions related to it will be answered.
From 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., after the general meeting, there will be an immersion in a warm pool in the hall. This will be a public step in your faith, so we encourage you to invite your friends and loved ones to this part.

BRING YOUR OWN:

  • dark clothes that you will wear during the baptism. Please note that wet clothes become transparent. To avoid unexpected discomfort, we recommend wearing a double shirt and a swimsuit or long swim shorts;
  • clothes to change into after the baptism;
  • a large towel that covers the entire body;
  • rubber slippers;
  • hair dryer.

REGISTRATION
Registration is required and will take place until July 5.
To register, please fill in your details in the fields below.

NB! Please note that we do not baptize children under the age of 10 who are not consciously believing in Christ as their Savior, or pregnant women. Everyone who is baptized is fully responsible for themselves. The Lithuanian Christian Church in London is not responsible for any deterioration in your health during baptism by immersion in water.

MEN’S TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS

MEN’S TRIP TO THE MOUNTAINS

Everyday life easily draws us men into a constant rush, responsibilities, and noise. Stopping, stepping back, and lifting our gaze above the usual routine isn’t something that comes naturally, but it is precisely in these moments that clarity, the right direction, and inner strength return.

As we conclude the 4th cycle of “Authentic Manhood,” we invite you to escape the daily grind and embark on a traditional men’s journey to the mountains—this time, we’ll once again visit the breathtaking Snowdonia.

Jesus also sought out the mountains—places where it is quiet, where one can separate oneself from the crowd and be with God. As it is written: “Be still, and know that I am God” (Ps 46:11). Although everyone’s journey with Him is personal, this time we will go together to strengthen one another, grow, and experience true male fellowship.

This trip is more than just a hike. It is an opportunity to test ourselves, step out of our comfort zones, and dare to take on responsibility. A time when we can find peace, escape the noise, and be authentic—before God and our neighbor. A time that nurtures faith and renews the soul.

Join us, lift your eyes above the daily grind, and experience how God renews your strength. May this journey lead to mature, steadfast manhood.

During the trip, you can look forward to:

  • Hiking in the mountains
  • An authentic outdoor sauna
  • BBQ
  • Themed fellowship and prayer

Event date: July 3–5

We’ll depart early Friday morning. We’ll travel separately and meet at an agreed-upon spot on the highway.

Price per person – £110 (includes lodging, meals, and sauna).

We’ll handle our own transportation and snacks.

Please bring: a sleeping bag, appropriate clothing and shoes, sauna supplies, earplugs, and toiletries.

WOMEN’S ENCOUNTER

WOMEN’S ENCOUNTER

A woman is a unique creation of God, designed not only to take action, support, or create, but also to perceive the world around her with sensitivity.

EVENT TOPIC: “Emotionally Healthy Woman”

No matter your age—whether you’re a mature woman, a young mother, or just beginning your journey into womanhood—you face the realities of modern life every day. We live in a time when everything is changing rapidly, and it seems there is nothing constant or reliable around us to lean on or rely on. The abundance of information and the frenetic pace of life pull us into a cycle of stress, anxiety, or even depression; uncertainty about tomorrow and fear for our own future and that of our loved ones visit us every day.

How can we discern what is true and what God has prepared for us, and where the enemy’s lies and deceit lie? How can we recognize and understand where anxiety, fear, stress, apathy, or depression come from? What can we do to keep God at the center of our attention? How can we calm our thoughts and emotions, and find peace, faith, and hope? How can we love and enjoy the life God gives us here and now, no matter what age we are?

This and more will be discussed during this Women’s Saturday; we will fellowship, pray, and serve one another. Be sure to register and join us.

We believe that today, more than ever before, God is calling us to rely on and draw close to Him as the only trustworthy source of peace and hope, who knows what every woman needs today so that we may be healthy, joyful, faithful, and filled with the fullness of divine life.
