“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Iz 9, 6).

Christmas is one of the biggest annual celebrations for Christians, as it is the day we celebrate the coming of our Lord to this earth. The prophecies of the Old Testament have been fulfilled — out of His love and mercy for mankind, the Lord sent the Savior, Jesus Christ, so that everyone who believes in Him personally will not perish but have eternal life and unbroken communion with the Creator of the Universe, God the Father.

Let us all celebrate the Holy Birth of the Lord together. We look forward to seeing you all on 20 December at 11.00 am in our church.

Bring refreshments for yourself and your neighbor, and after the meeting we will all enjoy them together and celebrate the birth of the Lord.

See you there!

We invite all employees to a festive evening. We would like to thank you for your loyal service, spend time together, and rejoice in the upcoming holidays.

Let’s gather together to celebrate, enjoy each other’s company, and share refreshments. The evening is private, but if you serve in our church, you are most welcome to join us!

On 15 November, three new episodes of the ‘Chosen’ series will be released. We invite everyone who would like to watch them, discuss each episode afterwards, and have a chat. This is a great opportunity to bring along non-believing friends, so they can see just how much Christ suffered of His own free will and what He had to go through for each and every one of us.

START: 21 November, 3.00 pm

REGISTRATION:
Registration is compulsory and will remain open until 19 November.

Hello, my dears!

I have this strong calling in my heart to invite everyone to join in a time of fasting and prayer.

I believe that God is calling us to purify our hearts and rid ourselves of any spiritual slumber or worldliness. It is vitally important for all of us to pause, calm down and listen to what the Spirit of God is revealing, what He is saying and what He is calling us to do. From time to time, we all unwittingly find ourselves swept up once more in the whirlpool of this world. That is why constant prayer, listening to the Word, fasting and gatherings of the faithful are spiritual disciplines given to us, through which the Holy Spirit helps us to keep our gaze fixed on Christ and to understand what is truly happening within us, in our marriages, relationships and ministries. Let us not miss out on this grace – the opportunity to do all this together. We will begin our fast on 9 November and conclude it on 15 November. On Friday, 13 November, we will gather for communal prayer at the church premises. On all other days of the week, let us pray with our family, our small group, or find one or two like-minded people to pray with. If you have neglected your prayer life, return to it – it is of the utmost importance. The Lord loves us deeply, so He leaves nothing within us that could harm us. Let us hold fast to His hand, and He Himself will lead us to where we need to be today (see Jer 33:3). Let us do our part, and the Lord will do His. May you all have blessed days, my dear ones!

Your Pastor, Vilma Ditkevicius

THE FASTING PERIOD: 9–15 November

COMMUNAL PRAYER: 13 November, 7.00–9.00 pm, in the church premises
