About
UNITED THROUGH JESUS CHRISTWE LIVE BY FAITH, AND NOT BY SIGHT
THE FATHER
We believe in God as our Father, but also the creator of heaven and earth, the One who holds everything in His hands. We see Him as a good, loving, holy, almighty, all-knowing, never changing and faithful God.
Ex 3:14 // Num 23:19 // Kings 11:44-45, 19:2// Ps 11:4-6// Mal 3:6// Jn 3:16, 4:24, 5:26// Acts 17:28// Rom 3: 3-4.
THE SON
We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that He is both God and man, that He is perfect, without sin. We also believe that He came to earth to save the lost, died on the cross for our sins and rose again so that we would have life!

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit leads people to believe in Jesus Christ. It moves people towards repentance, leads in wisdom and reveals truth, provides different spiritual gifts, and helps people become more like Jesus.
Gen 1:2// Ps 51:11, 139:7// Is 61:1-3// Jl 2:28-32// Mt 1:10// Lk 1:35, 4:1, 11:13, 12:12// Jn 15:26, 16:7-14// Acts 1:8, 2:1-4, 13:2// Rom 8:9-11, 8:4-16, 8:26-27// 1 Cor 3:16// Eph 1:13-14// 2 Pt 1:21// Rev 22:17.
THE TRINITY
We believe that there is one God, in three persons- the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. All three are equal and work together in unity.
Deut 6:4// Is 61:1// Mt 28:19// Mk 1:9-11// Lk 1:35// Jn 5:21-23, 14:10// Rom 8:9-11// 1 Cor 8:6// 2 Cor 13:14// Heb 1:8-10// Jm 2:19.
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the word of God, written by those inspired and moved by the Holy Spirit. We believe it is a guide for all human-kind and that it shows us the perfect will of God for our lives, our salvation and our faith.
Deut 4:1-2// Ps 119:11, 89, 105// Is 40:8// Mt 22:29// Jn 5:39// Rom 15:4// 2 Tim 3:15-17// Heb 1:1-2// 1 Pt 1:25// 2 Pt 3:16.
PEOPLE
We believe that everyone is unique, special and deserving of love and respect.
We also believe that people were created in the image of God, to have relationship with Him. However, because of sin, no one is able to make peace with God only by their own strength and actions.
Gen 1:26-30, 2:7,18-22, 3// Ps 8: 3-6, 32:1-5, 51:5// Is 6:5// Jer 17:5// Acts 17:26-31// Rom 1:19-32, 3:10-18,23, 5:6, 6:6, 7:14-25// 1 Cor 1:21-31, 15:19, 21:22// Eph 2// Col 1:21-22, 3:9-11.
SALVATION
We believe that Jesus’ blood shed on the cross, and his resurrection, are what grant us our salvation. Our salvation is a gift from God and it cannot be earned by the good things we do. Only by believing that Jesus Christ is Lord, that He died for us, by asking for forgiveness and by accepting Him into our lives, can we be truly saved. From the moment we ask for forgiveness and accept Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives, we are saved!
Is 1:18, 53:5-6, 55:7// Mt 1:21, 27:22-66, 28:1-6// Lk 1:68-69, 2:28-32// Jn 1:12, 3:16, 5:24// Acts 2:21, 4:12, 16:30-31// Rom 1:16-18, 3:23-25, 5:8-10// 1 Cor 1:18// 2 Cor 5:17-20// Gal 2:20, 3:13// Eph 2:8-10// Phil 2:12-13// Heb 9:24-28// Rev 3:20.
THE CHURCH
The church is not just a physical building, but it is also the body of Christ, with Jesus as the head. We believe that the church is made up of every believer of Jesus, working together in love and unity for the glory of Jesus Christ. It is everyone who is prepared to follow Him, fulfill His will for the church, by following His example of spreading the Good News to the lost.
Mt 16:18-19, 18:15-20// Acts 2:41-47, 5:11-14, 13:1-3, 14:23, 16:5, 20:28// 1 Cor 7:17, 9:13-14, 12// Eph 1:22-23, 2:19-22, 3:10-12, 5:22-32// Col 1:18, 3:15// 1 Tim 4:14// 1 Pt 5:1-4// Rev 21:2-3.
SERVANTHOOD
We believe that Jesus was the ultimate example of serving others, and that He called us all to continue to serve. Through the Holy Spirit, He has given gifts and purpose to his people, calling them to be: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers, just as we see in the New Testament.
Eph 4:11-13// 2 Cor 3:6// Acts 20:24// Rom 12:1-8// 1 Cor 12:4-12, 12:27-28// Jn 14:12// Mt 10:1,7-8.
WATER BAPTISM
We believe in the power of water baptism on someone’s life. Baptism is a very conscious and public action that represents a person’s decision to live their lives for Christ: an outward action that symbolises an inner transformation.
Mt 29:19// Acts 2:38// Mrk 16:16// Acts 8:12, 8:36-38, 10:47-48.
BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the significance of the baptism of the Holy Spirit: it is the promise of God to His believers. He sent the Holy Spirit once Jesus returned to heaven after his time here on earth. The Holy Spirit is the power that enables us to spread the Gospel to the world.
Jl 2: 28-29// Mt 3:11// Mk 16:17// Acts 1:5, 2:1-4, 2:17, 2:38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 10:44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6
MISSION
We believe in the power of the gospel, and that it is the answer to every lost soul’s deepest desire, and that we as a church are called to go and spread the Good News to the ends of the earth.
CHRIST'S RETURN
We believe that Jesus will return to earth and take those who believe in Him, back to heaven with him.
Mt 24:30, 26:63-64// Acts 1:9-11// 1 Tess 4:15-17, 1:7-8// Rev 1:7.
AFTER THIS LIFE
We believe that everyone was created to live in eternity, and will either spend this eternity separated from God (in hell), or in unity with Him in heaven, through salvation and the forgiveness of our sins.
Jn 3:16, 3:36// Rom 6:23// 1 Jn 2:25, 5:11-13// Rev 20:15.
A PRAYER OF SALVATION
““Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.”
John 3:16
Imagine yourself standing before God, and His one question to you is: “Why should I let you into heaven?”
What would you answer him? Would it be: “Because I am a good person” or “Because I try and be good,
and I treat others fairly”? These answers are good, but they are not the right one. The one answer that God longs to hear is:
“Because I believed in Jesus Christ and confessed him as my Lord and Saviour.”
There is only one way that a person can be saved. The Bible teaches us that everyone,
no matter how good or bad we are, or how many good things we have done in our lives, we are all equally sinful
and we all fall short of the glory of God. (Rom 3:23). This means that not one of us, through our own actions,
can guarantee or earn our salvation.
Instead, Jesus was the one who paid the price in full, dying for our sins on the cross. Though it may be hard
for us to fully understand just how great his sacrifice was, all we need to do is accept his gift of grace
to us, ask him to forgive us, and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.
It does not matter who you are or what your background is, God has shown and declared His
love for you! If you want to accept this gift that God has given you, pray the prayer below,
and you will be saved!
God,
I know that I am a sinner.
I have sinned against you with my thoughts, my words, and my actions.
Forgive me for living my life as though You didn’t exist,
or for simply ignoring You and Your voice
and thinking I didn’t need You.Forgive me.
Jesus, I’m so thankful that you died for me,
choosing the cross, so that I could have life.
Thank you for accepting me just as I am,
for forgiving me and for the reality that my sins
are made pure by Your blood.
From today onwards, I choose to follow You,
and I invite You into my heart and into my life.
You are my Lord and Saviour, now and forever!
Amen.
Maybe now, you finally feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders, or maybe you don’t feel
any change at all. If you prayed this prayer sincerely, you can be certain, that you are saved, whether you
feel something different or not. We are very happy for you, and would love to get in touch with you, and hear more
