Hello,
On 16–17 October, a new masculinity weekend awaits us – we are launching the new, 5th cycle: ‘The Man and His Marriage’.
1. TOPIC – THE FOUNDATION
Strong relationships do not begin with the right person. They begin with a solid foundation.to.
Description:
Every man brings more to a relationship than he sometimes realises: his expectations, habits, strengths, weaknesses and his understanding of what it means to be a man. Sooner or later, all of this comes to the surface.
As we explore this topic, we’ll go back to the beginning: what did God intend when He created man, woman and marriage? Why is marriage more than just two people trying to be happy? And what does it really mean for a man to take responsibility, show initiative, love and serve?
No matter where you are today in your relationship, it is important to understand what your foundation is and what sort of man you are becoming. This is precisely what this session emphasises.
👉 Because if the foundation is crooked, sooner or later its crookedness will become apparent in everything built upon it.
2. TOPIC – DIE TO LIVE
Sometimes the biggest problem in your relationship isn’t the other person. Sometimes it’s you.
Description:
We want to be understood, respected and valued. We want our needs to be taken into account.
But there’s one problem – it’s very easy for all of us when life revolves solely around ‘me’. This becomes evident in marriage, friendships, family and other relationships: what can I get out of it? What’s convenient for me? Why should I be the first to compromise, forgive or take the initiative?
This topic raises an uncomfortable question for men: what if it’s not the other person who needs to change first, but me?
In this session, we’ll discuss selfishness as one of the greatest obstacles to servant leadership, and the paradox demonstrated by Jesus – to die to oneself so that one may truly live.
This isn’t about weakness, nor is it about letting others take advantage of you.
It’s about maturity – the ability to deny yourself for the sake of what is truly worth your life.
It’s about the ability, in relationships, not only to ask what I can get, but also to see what I can give.
👉 Less ‘What’s in it for me?’. More ‘What can I give?’

WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW?
It is extremely important to participate in all weekends of the cycle so that you can hear all the topics. Then the weekends will be much more meaningful. Let’s all come with the attitude, “I want to be available to God.” Let’s participate from the beginning. We encourage you to arrive on Friday – it’s better to leave early so you don’t get stuck in traffic and arrive on time.
Being around other men and sharing your life, walking and supporting each other, is an essential part of the journey of manhood. Therefore, we encourage you to join existing men’s home groups or start your own group (please inform the leaders this weekend or the church administration), as well as join the WhatsApp group 300🔥 and attend church meetings on Sundays.
During the weekend, the team of ministers will serve with prayers and personal conversations related to the weekend’s themes. There will be worship and testimonies.
