WHO ARE THE BLESSED?

by | 2026.07.19

“Be doers of the word, not merely hearers who deceive themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror. He looks at himself and goes away, and immediately forgets what he looked like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law of liberty and obeys it—whoever is no longer a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work—will be blessed in what he does. If any of you think you are religious but do not keep a tight rein on your tongue, but deceive your own heart, your religion is worthless. Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” (James 1:22-27).
