THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER BAPTISM
According to the Bible, Christian water baptism is an outward sign of what has happened in the believer’s life. It illustrates the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The Bible says: “Don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Rom. 6:3-4). Immersion in water during baptism symbolizes death and burial with Christ, and emergence from the water symbolizes resurrection with Christ.

TWO REQUIREMENTS FOR THOSE WHO DECIDE TO BE BAPTIZED:
1. A person must believe in Jesus Christ as their Savior.
2. They must understand the meaning of baptism.

If a person has accepted the Lord Jesus as their Savior, understands that baptism is a step of obedience and a public confession of their faith in Christ, and desires to be baptized in water, there is no reason why this believer should not be baptized. According to the Bible, baptism is important because the believer publicly declares his faith and devotion to Christ, identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection. It is a conscious and public act that testifies to a person’s choice to follow Jesus for the rest of their life and be His disciple.

We invite everyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Savior and has not yet been baptized in water!

WHAT TO EXPECT
On Sunday at 10:00 a.m., before the general meeting, there will be a lesson entitled “What is water baptism?” during which your knowledge about baptism will be expanded and all questions related to it will be answered.
From 12:30 to 1:00 p.m., after the general meeting, there will be an immersion in a warm pool in the hall. This will be a public step in your faith, so we encourage you to invite your friends and loved ones to this part.

BRING YOUR OWN:

  • dark clothes that you will wear during the baptism. Please note that wet clothes become transparent. To avoid unexpected discomfort, we recommend wearing a double shirt and a swimsuit or long swim shorts;
  • clothes to change into after the baptism;
  • a large towel that covers the entire body;
  • rubber slippers;
  • hair dryer.

Registration is required and will take place until February 1.
